The Captain's Sailing & Reference Manual

As part of the Spinnaker Crew's Captain's Series, The Captain’s Sailing & Reference Manual is quite possibly the first of its kind in that we have combined key vessel reference information with quick reference mariner information into one easy to use manual. Did you ever say where is that part number? What kind of oil does my boat need? No where did I put that? Now, there is a one stop shop to get all of that information. There are two major components – chapters to collect, organize and serve as the reference for specific vessel and crew information and the other containing chapters on general mariner information like Aids to Navigation, Rules of the Road, Navigation, Marine Weather, Sailing, Safety and Emergency Procedures, and more. At over 250 pages, there are too many individual features to list but include diagrams, schematics, equations, formulas, background info, diagram & schematics, and equations & formulations. The captain can log all pertinent vessel characteristics, system details, checklists, part numbers, etc. It also has references for more general mariner information: calculations, nautical resources, navigation information, tides, coastal and celestial navigation, how-to’s and best practices are in this manual to aid the captain in the day-to-day operation of the vessel.
